Micah is a Research Associate at the Wellbeing Research Centre at Oxford, a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Senior Analyst at the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen. His research examines the determinants and downstream effects of subjective wellbeing and social connections. He has designed, implemented, and supervised studies involving more than 20,000 participants across 24 countries. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including Nature Scientific Reports, and featured in the New York Times, The Economist, Forbes, and the Financial Times. He holds Master’s degrees in Applied Ethics and Economic Policy from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
