Dr. Bouke Klein Teeselink is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Economics at the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London, and Chief Economist at the AI Objectives Institute. Before joining KCL, he obtained his PhD from the Tinbergen Institute and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2021), and was a postdoctoral scholar at Yale School of Management.
His research focuses on the Economics of AI. He examines how generative AI is transforming labour markets around the world, answering questions about how AI is changing the job prospects of early-career workers, which jobs and occupations win and lose, how work is changing, and how the supply and demand for skills is shifting as a consequence of AI. His research has been covered by the Financial Times, The Economist, Nature, The Guardian, Reuters, Forbes, and more.
