Dr. Hannah Lucas
I am the Communications Officer at the Wellbeing Research Centre, and a researcher and lecturer in English Language & Literature at the University of Oxford.
My research considers the intersection of religion, philosophy, and medicine in late medieval literature. I am particularly interested in the relationship between contemplative practice and wellbeing. In July 2020, I completed my D.Phil (Ph.D) at Corpus Christi College and the English Faculty at the University of Oxford, supervised by Professor Vincent Gillespie.
I currently teach undergraduates on the BA (Hons) English Literature & Language course at Corpus Christi College, and supervise dissertations on late medieval literature.
